TEST OBJECTS:

Polymer and composite materials, paint and varnish matter and coats, polyvinyl chloride type

TESTING PROCEDURES

Climatic testing:


- for operation under elevated ambient temperature from +40 till +80 °С;
- for operation under lowered ambient temperature from –30 down to –50 °С;
- for operation under variable ambient temperature from +80 till –40 °С;
- for operation under the effect of sun radiation.

Physico-mechanical tests for:

- tensile strength;
- elongation at rupture;
- compressive strength;
- compressive strain;
- elasticity modulus at tension and compression;
- impact resistance;
- flexural elasticity;
- shrinkage;
- density;
- resistance to lamination ;
- latticed notch adhesion;
- Brinell hardness;
- coefficient of linear thermal expansion;
- Sharpy impact strength;
- Vicat thermostability.

Electrical tests:

- specific surface resistance;
- specific volume resistance.

Testing for:

- resistance to chemicals;
- water absorption;
- determining characteristics of filtering elements and systems;
- bubble point;
- diffusion;
- bubble point and diffusion;
- pressure difference;
- water-intrusion test (WIT);
- multitest for diffusion and other

The laboratory defines at a high professional level
the warranty period of materials and their components using databases and computer design;
draws up quality test reports of materials or components;
renders consulting in problems of atmospheric resistance and aging of polymer and composite materials.
